This is the fifth of nine in my son's first photography outing. When we arrived at the second park (see previous posts for the entire story), we put in and started paddling out. I had the cameras in a dry bag for protection, and when we were out a little, he pulled along side and I handed him his camera. One thing I immediately noticed was directly opposite the sunset was a line of sailboats at the marina with a beautiful moon rise behind them, so with the golden sun lighting the boat sterns, and the moon rising, it was a beautiful setting. (I will post one of my images in a future post).
After my son had taken some of the shots you have seen, he turned and captured this image of the rising moon! Remember, he knows nothing about the rule of thirds!
